How to copy multiple names from Outlook 2010 To field without email address

Have you ever tried to copying multiple names from Outlook 2010 To field? I know I have and was frustrated by how instead of just copying a list of names, Outlook also includes the email address of the person in <> brackets next to the name: i.e. Some Guy ; Some Girl , etc...

Well, today I finally worked out how to copy just the list of names without the email addresses!

1. You need to click on the "To" button next to the address field which will bring up

 

2. In the Select Names dialog that pops up copy the multiple names from the To field and that's it - you'll have your list of contacts without the emails attached to them!
